So users should generally not have access to the SAP:KPI's catalog since:
a) It's huge (impact to FLP performance)
b) They may not have access to many of the tiles
c) The catalog potentially does not align with your nomenclature of your other catalogs
a) You'd like to place individual SSB tiles (which potentially could be linked to transaction apps) in the same catalogs as related apps.
Note - Updated the above reasons: Removed the initial reasons as discovered that due to BI tools authorisation set-up, users were incorrectly granted the analytical privilege _SYS_BI_CP_ALL which basically overrode the SSB authorisations...
Has anyone figured a way to at least make a SSB tile accessible in a local catalog (without needing to recreate the tile)?
